At Kakivik, safety is again big news
Continuing to set high standards in safe work practices and performance
Anchorage, November 11, 2013: Kakivik Asset Management, LLC (“Kakivik”) announced today the achievement on October 13, 2013 of a significant milestone in working two years without an OSHA Recordable Incident. An OSHA Recordable Incident is an incident in which medical treatment is required following an injury.
In recognition of this achievement, ConocoPhillips will be awarding the entire Asset and Operating Integrity group at ConocoPhillips Alaska the Silver level in the Incident Free Culture Club.
In addition, for the second time in three years, Kakivik was awarded a Contractor Heath, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Excellence Award. This award was presented to Kakivik by the management of ConocoPhillips Alaska at their annual HSE Summit on October 14.
